The children slept in this morning (WHY couldn't I?), so I decided we'd devote the rest of the morning to art. Here's my crazy little nose-ring girl getting ready:

My water colour painting featuring -- what else -- a tree!
My butterfly made from more of those leaves I pressed last year. I did a brush-over with gel medium to help preserve them as well as give them a shine:

ReplyDeleteI love your tree, the background colours are very atmospheric too! I love your kids creativity as well, those little models are so detailed, brill colours too... though my fave has to be the canvas with the frilly bits..too sweet! :)
