My friend Sara sent me a link to some art ideas that were perfect for my art outlet while in the hospital. The links, in case you're interested, are here and here. As usual, they were more challenging than I anticipated and took much of the day (on and off) -- but art therapy is, well, therapeutic -- and I'm in here for healing! (BTW -- don't you love my sham and hand-painted silk pillow case? Such blessings of comfort and colour!)
Awesome! Neat! My dd says "Sweet!" ;) The first one looks like taffy to us :) The second one messed with my eyes for a moment. Neat, neat, neat!
ReplyDeleteI have to try the hand figure! It intrigues me. Thanks for posting the links, too. There are some really good ideas there.
ReplyDeleteThank you, ladies! :)
ReplyDeleteXinme,
ReplyDeleteI will pray for your complete recovery. If you want anything in the way of books or art supplies, please send me your e-mail, okay?

That's so kind of you, sharpiewoman! Thank you. I'm afraid it would cost you an arm and a leg to send something to me, though -- I'm up in the Great White North (well, the southern Great White North, not far from the border ;) My email is above (right hand sidebar) should you wish to contact me, but I can't think of anything to ask you to send to me. Thank you for the kind and generous offer!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon...
ReplyDeleteThat hand is incredible:)
xx
Thank you, Gwen :) I was wishing I'd done the lines across the hand at the same time I did the other lines because I don't like the line breaks at the edges AND I messed up on the NUMBER of lines some how!! LOL Oh well -- not aiming for perfection, are we?;)
ReplyDeleteThe hand is SO neat. I sat there staring and staring at it. What a nice gift you gave to Viv!
ReplyDeleteWe just did these hands in our little homeschool art class! I loved doing them.
