Fabric Fun
The other day, DD10 had a friend over and they wanted to do some art. Because she noticed me using swatches of fabric, she thought it would be fun to apply the strips of fabric we have on hand to little canvas boards.

Hmmm.... sew the strips together into little pouches, and stuff with popcorn or split peas to make beanbags and then make a beanbag toss game!
ReplyDeleteOr..gather them into circles and sew a button in the middle to make flowers; then stick the flowers on a headband. While you're at it, cover the headband with fabric!
Or.. sew them into tubes and insert elastic to make hair scrunchies.
Or how about mini-quilts for Barbie dolls?
